Lobi Stars Football Club have suspended their Technical Adviser, Coach Abubakar Bala Mohammed, following a review of the team’s recent performances.

The decision was reached after an emergency meeting of the club’s Interim Management Committee, which ordered the indefinite suspension of the coach with immediate effect.

According to the club, the action was taken due to what it described as unsatisfactory results so far this season. Lobi Stars have managed just seven points from six matches, recording a return of seven out of a possible 18 points. The run of results has left the club sixth on the log in their group of eight teams.

In the interim, Coach Abubakar Bala Mohammed has been directed to formally hand over his duties to the club’s Chief Coach, John Onuh, popularly known as “Abacha,” who will take charge of the team pending further decisions by management.

The club’s management reaffirmed its commitment to taking necessary steps aimed at improving performance and restoring the team’s competitive edge.

The suspension was confirmed in a statement signed electronically by Emmanuel Terwase Uja, Director of Media and Communications of Lobi Stars Football Club.
