Jos is set to witness a cultural and spiritual spectacle as preparations reach their peak for the Maiden Edition of the Tarok Christmas Carol, billed to hold on Sunday, 7th December 2025, at the Millennium International Event Center, Domkat Bali Way (Rtd), directly opposite the Solomon Lar Amusement Park, Jos, beginning at 1pm.
Speaking on the readiness of the organizers, the National President of the Tarok Progressive Youth Association (TAPYA), the umbrella body of Tarok Youth Worldwide and Chairman of the Central Planning Committee, Amb. Miri Timnan Nyantau (M.T.N), assured that all is in place for a truly world-class celebration.
He said “We are fully prepared to stage a Christmas Carol that meets global standards. Hosting this maiden edition in Jos is deliberate, Tarok nation is a major tribe in Plateau State, and our presence must be visible at the State Capital, especially through positive, unifying events such as this.”
Amb. Nyantau further extended an open invitation to the general public, saying, “We call on all and sundry, Tarok sons and daughters, friends of Tarok nation, and the entire Plateau family, to come celebrate Christmas the Tarok way. This Carol will not just be an event; it will be an experience of culture, faith, unity, and joy.”
The grand celebration will feature soul-lifting ministration from the Tarok Mass Choir, the sensational Kate Miri, and an array of other talented gospel ministers set to light up the stage. In addition, the programme will include Carol Lessons to be read by prominent Tarok dignitaries, respected clergymen, and selected children, symbolizing the generational continuity of Tarok heritage and Christian values.
With high-quality sound, colourful cultural expressions, and a spiritually refreshing lineup, the Maiden Tarok Christmas Carol is poised to set a new benchmark for festive celebrations in Plateau State.
