The Tarok Progressive Youth Association (TAPYA), the voice of Tarok youths worldwide, is devastated to receive the sad news of the tragic death of David S. Paradang, the former Comptroller General of Immigration.
This tragic reoccurrence has not only claimed the life of Nde David Skifu Parradang who defended this nation with his life but has also ignited a fervent call for justice and a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding his untimely death.
The National President of Tarok Youths, Amb Miri Timnan Nyantau (M.T.N) on behalf of Tarok Youths worldwide mourns with the Ngas nation and reaffirms the long held history of cultural solidarity that through thick or thin, the Tarok and Ngas nations which have remained indivisible.
Amb Nyantau said the murder of Ex CGI Parradang brings to memory the murder of another top security expert of Tarok extraction, the Late Deputy Comptroller of Corrections Service, J. Gwali who like Parradang, was murdered in suspicious circumstances and the investigation swept under the carpet.
While the details surrounding the murder of David Paradang remain murky, characterized by uncertainty and confusion that often accompanies violent crimes in Nigeria, we urge the Nigerian Police to handle the public relations surrounding Parradang’s murder with utmost professionalism and not add more pains to the people. We therefore, demand transparency and efficiency so that the murder would not become another statistic lost in the country’s growing crime wave
