Distinguished Senator Simon Fwet Mwadkwon, the former Senate Minority Leader has joined other well wishers in celebrating his revered mentor and icon, Distinguished Senator Jonah David Jang on his 81st birthday
Sen Mwadkwon in a message he personally signed said “I am honored to join family, friends and well-wishers in celebrating Da Jonah David Jang, a revered mentor, great Father, outstanding leader, and dedicated nationalist, on his birthday anniversary”.
Eulogizing the former Plateau State governor, Sen Mwadkon acknowledged that “Dara, your outstanding diligent services to Plateau State, Benue State, the defunct Gongola State, the Nigerian Air Force, and the nation, in various capacities and at different times, is deserving of recognition.”
He paid glowing tributes to the Elder Statesman admitting that “Your selfless efforts to protect the nation’s territorial integrity, promote national unity, growth, and development are worthy of acclaim.”
“As a nationalist and elder statesman, you have consistently demonstrated unwavering patriotism and provided sage counsel for the common good of the nation and its citizens.”
“Your invaluable contributions to infrastructural development, human capital development, and nation-building are unmatched.
It is little wonder that you were christened “Father of Modern Plateau State” given the unprecedented infrastructural development attained during your administration across all the states you have overseen.”
