In a chilling escalation of violence, armed bandits have unleashed a wave of terror across Katsina State, Nigeria, executing coordinated attacks that have left communities reeling.
On Sunday evening, around 5 PM, heavily armed assailants blocked the Kankara–Dutsin-Ma road, intercepting a vehicle and abducting all its passengers. This brazen act occurred less than five hours after a separate ambush in Doma village, Tafoki district of Faskari LGA, where bandits killed several farmers en route to their fields.
Local reports indicate that the attackers, believed to be part of a notorious network operating in the region, have intensified their operations, targeting both travelers and agrarian communities. The simultaneous nature of these assaults suggests a deliberate strategy to destabilize the area and instill fear among residents.
