A grassroots pressure group within the All Progressives Congress (APC), known as G18, has declared its support for the political aspiration of Hon. Beni Butmak Lar ahead of the 2027 elections.
The group, made up of committed men and women drawn from the eighteen electoral wards of Langtang North Local Government Area, said its members have resolved to mobilize support across their communities to ensure the success of Hon. Beni Lar’s political ambition.
Speaking during a meeting of the group, the Convener, Hon. Dindam Longbap Wuyep, popularly known as Baba Mai Kunu or Jirgin Talakawa, said the movement was formed to promote sincere leadership and service to the people. He noted that politics should be guided by compassion and genuine concern for humanity.
Hon. Wuyep also called on members of the All Progressives Congress to take part in the ongoing APC membership e-registration exercise. According to him, active participation in the registration process will strengthen the party and prepare it for future political engagements.
Some members of the G18 group who spoke at the gathering expressed happiness to be part of the movement supporting Hon. Beni Lar. They described her as a committed leader and promised to mobilize supporters in their various wards to promote her message and vision.
The members also pledged to continue spreading what they described as the “gospel of the People’s Servant,” while working at the grassroots level to build strong support for the APC and Hon. Beni Lar in the years ahead.
