The Executive Chairman of Langtang South Local Government Council, Hon Nanfa Alhassan Nbin has distanced himself from a social media publication that claimed he is gunning for Langtang North and Siuth House of Representatives seat
The Council Chairman in a message by Esther Sahmah Binkap, Special Adviser, Media and Communications said “Our attention has been drawn to a social media group, suggesting Hon. Nanfa Alhassan Nbin’s intention to run for the House of Representatives seat in 2027”.
Hon Nbin who has been performing excellently so far emphatically declared that “We wish to categorically state that Hon. Nanfa Alhassan Nbin is not aware of this publication and has not authorized anyone to make such declarations on his behalf”.
Renewing the Chairman’s commitment to the current mandate of serving Langtang South, the statement cleared that “For the avoidance of doubt, Hon. Nanfa Alhassan Nbin remains committed to delivering on his promises to the good people of Langtang South, and his attention is firmly focused on the tasks ahead”.
“We urge the general public to disregard this misinformation and any subsequent speculation. We will keep the public informed of any future developments regarding Hon. Nanfa Alhassan Nbin’s political aspirations, if any”.
