The Executive Chairman of Langtang South Local Government Council, Hon Nanfa Alhassan Nbin has appealed to Tarok Youth Worldwide to support the government of Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang and the local government Chairman to succeed
Speaking at the Tarok Youth Hangout, organized by the global umbrella body of Tarok Youth, the Tarok Progressive Youth Association (TAPYA), on Sunday 3rd August, 2025 explained that since the advent of democracy in 1999 no single governor has carries the Tarok man along like Governor Mutfwang.
He reminded the Youth that “to whom much is given, much is expected. Gov Mutfwang has given us (Tarok nation) much and we must give him much too through unalloyed support and massive votes
Represented by the Majority Leader of Langtang South Legislative Council and Councilor representing Sabongida Ward, Hon Paul Jimam Lar, the Council Chairman explained noted that “we can only guarantee massive votes when we utilize the window of Continuous Voters Registration that would soon be opened by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to register new voters and transfer registration of voters”
In a bold demonstration of matching words with action, Hon Nbin promised to work closely with the umbrella body of Tarok Youth to facilitate the movement of eligible prospective voters from one place to Tarok land for registration
In his welcome address, National President of TAPYA, Amb Miri Timnan Nyantau (M.T.N) appreciated Tarok Youth for always listening to the voice of wisdom, being respectful to elders and constituted authorities. He however frowned at the alarming rate of child trafficking that has dented the image of Tarok nation
