Former President Muhammadu Buhari’s Minister and Chieftain of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Barr Solomon Selcap Dalung has lambasted the National Working Committee of the country’s main opposition party, the Peoples’ Democratic Party PDP for their timidity and lack of boldness to have long confronted the ‘relegate element that arrogantly destroyed the party using public funds’
Speaking on Friday night as a guest on Pointblank News Blog Interactive Session, monitored by our correspondent, the vocally combative former university don turned politician said “As a believer in Jesus Christ, I will only pray for the PDP but I am also mobilizing funds for supporting the course of buying the casket for buying the Party because the party has shot itself on the foot”
Berating the PDP NWC for their inactions, the 2023 SDP House of Representatives candidate for Langtang North and South Federal Constituency, without mincing words averred that “It allowed a relegate element to arrogantly destroy the party using public funds. Now that the National Working Committee (NWC) is awakening from slumber, I wonder where they would start because they (NWC) stood and watch the political comedy unfolding for whatsoever reasons.”
Dalung wondered where PDP will commence the damage control from questioning that “Now that it has grown above and beyond their capacity to deal with, they are pretending to fight back. I don’t see them succeeding because where were they when the crisis, the self-inflicted crisis in Rivers State degenerates to the situation we are?”
“So for PDP, I will be praying that God have mercy on the soul of the party. Amen”
