As Muslim faithful’s the world over commence Ramadan, a holy month observed through fastings and prayers, a former Commissioner in Plateau State during Gov Joshua Chibi Dariye’s regime, Hon Dauda Lamba has enjoined muslims to perform the righteous deeds of ramadan in total obedience to the ordinances laid down for the conduct and moderation of social life within the muslim ummah in particular and the society generally, while believing that “Righteousness Does Not Consist Of Formalities, But In Faith, Kindness, Prayers, Charity, Probity, And Patience Under Suffering”
Barr Lamba who also served as Senior Special Adviser during Gov Jonah David Jang in a message on his social media handles preached that ‘ As We Commence this Year’s Ramadan Fasting, May Allah SWT Make Us To Act And Perform The Righteous Deeds of Ramadan In Total Obedience To The Ordinances Laid Down For The Conduct And Moderation Of Our Social Life Within The Muslim Ummah In Particular And The Society Generally, And While Believing That “Righteousness Does Not Consist Of Formalities, But In Faith, Kindness, Prayers, Charity, Probity, And Patience Under Suffering.”
The Legal Luminary prayed that “May He Also Guide To The Straight Path And Direct Our Actions And Strength Towards The Strict Performance Of The RAMADAN FASTING With A Clarity Of Conscience And An Amazing Commitment To Serve Humanity With Patience And Distinction So As To Attract His Pleasure And Glory, And Also To Attract His Unending Blessings, Favors, Mercies And Benevolence, Here And In The Hereafter. Ameen.”
