The member representing Pankshin/ Kanke/ Kanam Federal constituency, Rt Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi, Ph.D, OON Chairman of the House Committee on Navy, received a thank-you visit from members of the Gagdi Impact Forum, Abuja Chapter.
The forum which is a group of individuals that got job placements through the benevolence of Hon. Gagdi who are working in Abuja were at the private office of the lawmaker to express their profound gratitude and appreciation for positively impacting their lives through permanent and pensionable appointments within various MDAs.
The forum expressed appreciation and pledged loyalty to ensure Rt Hon Gagdi’s political success.
In response, Rt Hon Gagdi thanked the members for their visit and expressed admiration for their presence.
Despite receiving short notice, Rt Hon Gagdi felt compelled to honour the visit. He rejected the idea of limiting the forum’s membership to only those who benefited from his representation and believed in his political movement. Instead, he suggested that the forum should include anyone who secured a permanent pensionable appointment through him whether that person supports him politically or not.
Rt Hon Gagdi urged the members not to be disturbed by propaganda, including misinformation about his infrastructural projects, empowerment, and employment initiatives. He emphasized that his legacies would speak for themselves at the right time.
Regarding the politicization of issues in Plateau, Rt Hon Gagdi advised the members not to be perturbed. He stated that his focus is on improving the lives of his constituents and ensuring they benefit from democracy.
To demonstrate his lawmaking prowess, Rt Hon Gagdi asked his supporters to disregard claims that he favours a particular section of the constituency. He pointed out that records have shown that his efforts have benefited people from various backgrounds as seen from those beneficiaries present today that includes individuals from different parts of the constituency and even beyond.
Discussing the 2027 politics, he stated that he is currently focused on serving his people, but when the time for politics arrives, everyone will answer his father’s name.
The Abuja chapter of the forum was led to the thank you visit by the co-ordinator Saminu Maigoro alongside the National Coordinator of the forum Pharm. Mizim Haruna Dagung.
The forum emphasised that, this is the beginning of many things to come!
