Hon Emmanuel Macham, JP the Spokesman of Sen Useni PDP Legacy Group has directed it members to immediately exit the People’s Democratic Party (PDP)
Macham in a statement on Saturday in Jos said “I have been directed to announce the immediate exit of all members from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Plateau State Chapter, effective June 21, 2025”.
The group which took the State and Federal Legislators from the State to the court leading to the lawmakers losing their seats to the opposition party further gave reason as follows:
Key Directives:
1. Resignation Letters: All members are required to submit their letters of resignation to the PDP across the state, dated between June 21, 2025, and June 28, 2025.
2. Reason for Exit: The decision follows the party’s failure to implement the peace accord with Governor Mutfwang, promised on September 19, 2024. Furthermore, the party’s current weakness at the national level has rendered it unable to present legitimate candidates for INEC elections nationwide, leaving our members vulnerable.
3. Discussions on way forward will continue as championed by our leaders and elders: Hon Aminu Zang, Chief DT Sango, Hon Amos Gombi, Hon Bitrus Kaze, Hajiya Ladi Nimlang, Chief James Pam, Barr Munir Barau, Chief Emmanuel Magni, Sir Fidelis Tapgun, Chief MI Azi, Emmanuel Macham JP, Mr Ishaku Chuntai, Hon Ishaya Nankap, Mama Dokatri, Chief David Goya, Hon Chief Jonah Watgit, Mr Stephen Fraps and others
4. Members are advised to await further directives accordingly as previously communicated.
“Thank you, and may you remain blessed”.
It would be recalled that Hon Bitrus Bulus Kaze who is the Chairman of the group exited the PDP last week
