As the 2027 elections approach, the search for credible leaders has intensified, with several aspirants vying for position of the the number one in Nigeria.
Arewa Youth Vanguard, a coalition of Northern Youth from the 19 States who are championing the search for credible leadership in a statement on Tuesday by Bala Usman Rimsang – Chairman of the AYV and Babajide Adeola, Secretary said “It’s crucial for us the Arewa Youth’s Vanguard to choose leaders who will build Nigeria again”.
The group in their search, said Barr Solomon Selcap Dalung, the former Minister of Youth and Sports Development during the late President Muhammadu Buhari regime ticked the boxes. “While it’s essential to evaluate all Candidates, we highlight the qualifications of Barr. Solomon Selcap Dalung (Magayakin Bukkuyum) who will bring fresh perspectives and workable solutions that will tailored our unique needs. His proven track records as a bridge builder, peace advocate, and unity promoter makes him an ideal candidate to drive progress in Nigeria. We are confident that Dalung will deliver on this assignment”.
Justifying its choice, the Youth recounted the former Minister’s vast experience and exposure “With his experience as a former Law Lecturer with the Faculty of Law in the most prestigious University Of Jos, Langtang South LGC Chairman, former Gubernatorial aspirant in Plateau State, former Member of the Federal Executive Council, Dalung possesses the credentials required to lead Nigeria”.
