TAPYA National Executive Pays Condolence Visits To Dr Ubandoma, Dr Chirman and Congratulates Prof Lar Over Governing Council Appointment

TAPYA Pays Condolence Visits To Dr Ubandoma, Dr Chirman and Congratulates Prof Lar

The National Executive Council of the Tarok Progressive Youth Association (TAPYA) has shared in the grief and pains of two Tarok illustrious sons; Hon Dr Ubandoma Joshua Laven, Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development Plateau State and Dr Clement Selchum Chirman, Acting Rector, Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin Ladi over the demise of their siblings

Led by the National President, Amb Miri Timnan Nyantau (M.T.N), on Friday, 31st January, 2025, the leadership of the umbrella body of Tarok Youths urged them to accept all that happened as the will of God. They prayed God to repose the souls of the departed and grant their loved ones the fortitude to bear the irreparable losses

Responding during the separate visits, they bereaved both thanked the Association for identifying with them and urged the EXCOs to wax stronger in unity as TAPYA remains the voice of Tarok nation. It would be recalled that Hon Dr UJ Laven buried his younger sister two weeks ago and Dr Chirman equally buried his younger brother a week ago

In a contrasting mood from pains to pleasure on the same Friday, the National Executives of TAPYA were at Prof Patricia Manko Lar residence to congratulate her over her nomination by the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang as a member of the Governing Council of College of Education Gindiri

Amb Miri Timnan Nyantau (M.T.N), National President of TAPYA described Prof Lar’s appointment as “a round peg in a round hole”. He specially appreciated the governor for always carrying us along in his administration and assured the governor of the maximum support and cooperation of Tarok Youths

Prof Lar appreciated TAPYA for the visit and most humbly thanked Gov Mutfwang for finding her worthy. She promised to bring to bear her wealth of experience inline with The Time Is Now Mantra vision for higher education. Prof Lar has previously served in the governing council of Plateau State University, Bokkos and Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin Ladi
