Rt. Hon. Ahmed Idris Wase Attends 8th Meeting of House Ad-Hoc Committee on Rivers State Administration Oversight
The Deputy Speaker of the 9th House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Idris Wase, CON, Today attended 8th meeting of the House of Representatives Ad-Hoc Committee on the Oversight of the Administration in Rivers State.
The committee, constituted to monitor governance activities and administrative processes in the state, convened to deliberate on crucial matters relating to its mandate.

A statement signed by Faruk Tahir his Media Aide and made available to Trill Times News said that
“During the session, the committee extensively reviewed the ongoing budgetary framework and proposals presented for the state’s administration”.
Faruk added that “Discussions centered on assessing the transparency, accountability, and alignment of the proposed budget with the developmental needs of Rivers State, ensuring that legislative oversight responsibilities are duly executed in accordance with constitutional provisions”.
“Rt. Hon. Wase, known for his firm stance on fiscal discipline and good governance, reiterated the importance of legislative supervision in safeguarding public resources and promoting efficient service delivery to the people. He commended the committee’s leadership for its dedication and called for sustained collaborative efforts in upholding democratic principles and strengthening governance structures in the state”, he concluded.
