Coalition Of Ethnic Youth Nationalities On The Plateau, the umbrella body of the 54 tribal Youth Presidents on the Plateau has congratulated Professor Nentawe Yilwada on his historic emergence as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Comrade Stephen Elisha Nokpan, Secretary General in a statement on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 for the President of Coalition of Ethnic Youth Nationalities, Amb Eekiel Bini eulogized Prof Yilwada’s appointment saying “This appointment is not only a testament to Prof. Yilwada’s outstanding leadership qualities, integrity, and unwavering commitment to national development, but also a source of pride for the Plateau people and all ethnic nationalities represented within our coalition”.
“As a technocrat and a bridge-builder with a clear vision for progressive politics, we are confident that Prof. Yilwada will bring fresh energy, inclusiveness, and strategic direction to the APC at this critical time in our national journey”, the Youth added.
“His emergence represents renewed hope for the youth, especially those from marginalized communities who yearn for visionary leadership that prioritizes competence and unity over division and exclusion”.
“We assure Prof. Yilwada of our full support and prayers as he assumes this crucial national assignment. May his tenure bring lasting reforms and strengthen the democratic values upon which our great nation stand”, the statement concluded.
