Democracy Day Anniversary: Hon. Daniel Nanbol Listick Hails Nigeria @65, Salutes Tinubu, Mutfwang, and Security Forces

Jos, October 1, 2025 – As Nigeria marks her 65th Independence Anniversary, Hon. Daniel Nanbol Listick, Member representing Langtang North-Central State Constituency in the Plateau State 10th Assembly, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Plateau State Governor Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, and Nigerians at large on what he described as an epoch-making milestone in the nation’s history.

In a goodwill message obtained by Trill Times News, Hon. Listick reflected on Nigeria’s democratic journey, praising the country’s resilience and steady progress as a sovereign nation.

He extended warm felicitations to the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the leadership of the National Assembly under Senate President Godswill Akpabio and Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudden, as well as to the Plateau State House of Assembly led by Rt. Hon. Daniel Naanlong Gapyil. He also congratulated the Executive Chairman of Langtang North LGA, Hon. Pirfa Tyem, and his constituents for their unwavering support.

Hon. Listick commended the sacrifices of the Nigerian Armed Forces and security agencies, acknowledging their commitment to safeguarding the country’s democracy.

“The proactiveness of the Armed Forces and other security outfits in defending Nigeria with their blood is a testament to their loyalty and belief in our democratic system,” he said.

The lawmaker, now serving his second term, expressed confidence that under the leadership of President Tinubu, Nigeria is on the path to socio-economic and infrastructural stability, adding that this inspires renewed hope for the actualization of “the Nigeria of our dreams.”

He concluded by congratulating Nigerians on the historic celebration, urging citizens to remain united and committed to the ideals of democracy, peace, and progress.
