On Wednesday, October 1, 2025, Nigerians marked the 65th Independence Anniversary of the country, and the Plateau State Fadama CARES team took the opportunity to celebrate national progress and leadership.

In a goodwill message signed by Chief Gideon G. Dandam, State Project Coordinator, and exclusively made available to Trill Times News in Jos, the Plateau State capital, the team extended warm felicitations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, and all citizens of Nigeria.

Chief Dandam praised the visionary leadership of both the President and Governor Mutfwang, particularly emphasizing the latter’s effective use of the Fadama platform under the NG-CARES Project.

According to Dandam, the initiative has ensured that farmers across Plateau State receive timely agricultural inputs, resulting in improved farm yields, increased national output, and strengthened food security in line with the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

“The interventions under NG-CARES have empowered our farmers, bolstered agricultural productivity, and contributed to building a self-reliant and prosperous Nigeria,” Dandam stated.

The Plateau State Fadama CARES team reaffirmed its commitment to supporting government programs aimed at achieving a food-secure nation and applauded the efforts of national and state leadership in fostering development and unity.

As Nigerians reflect on the nation’s journey since independence, the message serves as a reminder of the critical role of agriculture and effective leadership in ensuring sustainable growth.

    Happy Independence Day, Nigeria!
