The Tarok Progressive Youth Association (TAPYA), umbrella body of Tarok Youth Worldwide has congratulated the Executive Chairmen of Langtang North, Langtang South, and Wase Local Government Areas – Hon. Pirfa Jingfa Tyem, Hon. Nanfa Alhassan Nbin, and Hon. Hamisu Mohammed Anani – on the celebration of their one year in office.
In a congratulatory message signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Comr C.C. Dashe, on behalf of the National President, Amb. Miri Timnan Nyantau (M.T.N), TAPYA on Friday , 10th October, 2025, TAPYA described the Chairmen as torch bearers and good ambassadors of Tarok youth who have displayed leadership built on commitment, inclusiveness, and genuine service to their people.
According to the umbrella body of Tarok Youth, Hon. Pirfa Jingfa Tyem of Langtang North has shown exemplary leadership by driving projects that directly touch the lives of his people. These include the remodeling of the Council Secretariat, renovation of the education block, construction of a new classroom block at Somung, and the allocation of fertilizer to youths engaged in farming.
Hon Tyem also earned praise for revitalizing and regularizing Nggapak Unity FM, has become an important voice for Tarok nation and a reliable source of entertainment, education and enlightenment.
In Langtang South, TAPYA commended Hon. Nanfa Alhassan Nbin for building on what he met on ground while adding his own meaningful contributions to the development of the area.
His administration, the statement noted, completed the ultra-modern one-storey Secretariat complex, constructed a one-storey market shopping complex, drilled motorized solar-powered boreholes, built drainages in flood-prone Sabongida, and appointed many young people into his government.
Tarok Youth equally applauded the Chairman of Wase Local Government Area, Hon. Hamisu Mohammed Anani, and his Deputy, Hon. Nantip Padur, for their efforts in promoting development and youth inclusion.
Among their notable achievements are the establishment of Wase Rock FM, construction of an NYSC Lodge, support for local farmers, and the appointment of several youths into leadership positions.
TAPYA expressed satisfaction with the achievements recorded so far by the three Chairmen, describing them as shining examples of what responsible and visionary leadership can deliver within a short period.
“You have all shown that leadership is not about titles, but about service and results. Your commitment to our people, your inclusion of young persons, and your visible achievements have brought pride to the Tarok nation. We are proud of you and encourage you to keep up the good work,” the statement read.
TAPYA further urged them to sustain their focus on unity, development, and the empowerment of young people, assuring them of Tarok Youth continued support and partnership in the second year in office.
