Senator Lawal Adamu Usman (PDP, Kaduna Central) has reacted to the recent wave of defections from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC), dismissing the defectors as insignificant figures who lack electoral influence.
In a post via his official Facebook page, Senator Adamu criticized those leaving the PDP, claiming they could not even secure victories in their polling units.
“Empty Shells falling apart, people that can not win their polling unit are the ones decamping to APC in kaduna,” he remarked.
Despite the defections, the senator reaffirmed the PDP’s strength and focus ahead of future political contests.
“We remain strong and focused in PDP,” he stated.
The wave of defections comes amid intensified political maneuvering in Kaduna State, with both PDP and APC positioning themselves for upcoming elections.
