In a strategic move aimed at galvanizing massive home support, Plateau United has announced free stadium access for students and children under the age of 15 for tomorrow’s rescheduled NPFL encounter against Rivers United. The much-anticipated fixture, earlier postponed due to Rivers United’s CAF Champions League commitments, will now hold at the New Jos Stadium.
Tomorrow’s clash marks the second of three consecutive home matches for the Peace Boys, coached by Shola Adegun, who already secured a hard-fought 1–0 victory over Warri Wolves on Sunday.
With momentum building, Plateau United is banking on the famed energy of its supporters, the “12th player” to push the team toward another important home win.
A victory tomorrow would propel Plateau United further up the league table, especially with former coach Mbwas Mangut returning to Jos on Sunday with his Nasarawa United side for yet another tough home assignment.
