The Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) has announced a change of venue for the Matchday 24 fixture between Remo Stars and Plateau United in the 2025/2026 season.
In a letter dated 31st January, 2026, and addressed to the Chairman/General Manager of Plateau United FC, the NPFL confirmed that the match will now be played on Monday, 2nd February, 2026, at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City, Edo State, following the closure of some match venues.
Trill Times News Sports Desk gathers that before the sudden change of venue was communicated to Plateau United around midnight on 31st January, 2026, players and officials of the Jos-based club had already arrived in Ibadan in preparation for the fixture.
The notice, signed by the NPFL Head of Competitions, Sunday Johnson Obaseki (Ph.D), indicated that further official correspondence would follow, while apologising for any inconvenience caused.
