TAPYA Celebrates The Academic Excellence Of Prof Lamle And 3 First Class Graduates

Basking in the euphoria of joy, Tarok Progressive Youth Association (TAPYA) celebrates the uncommon academic excellence of Professor Nansoh Elias Lamle, who made history as the first Nigerian to attain the rank of professor in Anthropology and Conflict Management.

National Publicity Secretary of TAPYA, Comr CC Dashe in a statement in Jos on Saturday evening said the National President of the Association, Amb Miri Timnan Nyantau (M.T.N) feels so proud of the feat achieved by Prof Lamle.

According to the statement, “Prof Nansoh Elias Lamle’s pacesetting ascension to the revered rank of professor is the product of the fruit of a labourious and impactful academic career”.

 “Prof Lamle’s insatiable thirst for knowledge from a young age when his academic journey began at the University of Jos, where he obtained his degree in Sociology. He subsequently pursued his master’s and doctoral studies in Anthropology and Conflict Management in Germany, focusing on the unique dynamics that challenge and shape our contemporary societies”, said Amb Nyantau

Recounting the erudite scholar’s contribution to mitigating against some societal ills, “the TAPYA President acknowledged Prof Lamle’s significant contribution to the fields of anthropology and conflict management which saw him speaking during the Association’s District Executives Induction on the most important topic “Ilele Syndrome And Potency Of Crimes In Tarok Land”

“Prof Lamle’s researches have provided understanding of intricating social fabrics that entrench conflict and how anthropological insights can facilitate peacebuilding efforts particularly for a nation grappling with issues of conflict and social cohesion. His work serves as an example of how academia can contribute to national stability and social justice”.

In a related development, the TAPYA President on behalf of himself and the whole Tarok Youths has equally “celebrated three remarkable Tarok students who graduated with first-class honours from various universities: Nimram Dindam Pius, Dafam Abel Nansak and Ponmak Nancwat. Each of these students did not only excel academically but also displayed the Tarok’s remarkable resilience and hardwork in their respective fields.”

“Nimram Dindam Pius, a graduate of Plateau State University, Bokkos, majored in Biochemistry with a Cumulative Grade Point Average of 4.84 – First Class”

“Dafam Abel Nansak from the same Plateau State University graduated with a first-class and a CGPA of 4.71 in Computer Science”

“Ponmak Nancwat, who studied Plant Science and Biotechnology at the prestigious University of Jos graduated with a CGPA of 4.64”

While congratulating them, the TAPYA National President concluded that the “achievements of these students give credence to the true Tarok conquering spirit accomplished when talent, resilience, and support converge.”
