A fifth-term elected member of the House of Representatives representing Langtang North and South Federal Constituency, Beni Butmak Lar, has strengthened her strong political influence across the Tarok nation with the rollout of a free National Identification Number (NIN) registration initiative aimed at widening participation in the All Progressives Congress (APC) membership e-registration exercise.
Trill Times News gathered that the initiative is aimed at helping eligible residents obtain their NIN to enable them take part in the ongoing membership e-registration exercise of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Speaking during the flag-off of the exercise at Pangna Community in Kuffen B, Langtang North Local Government Area, the eloquent and kind hearted former Member, Beni Butmak Lar explained that the move is deliberate to strengthen the internal structure of the party while improving data accuracy and coordination at the grassroots level.
The legal luminary noted that the exercise will not only revalidate existing members but also create room for new members to join the party ahead of future political activities.
According to her, the e-registration process will produce a credible and reliable membership database that will guide proper planning and decision-making within the APC.
She therefore called on party members across Langtang North and South, as well as other parts of the state, to come out in large numbers and take part in the exercise, stressing that it will qualify them to participate in future party primaries as recognised members.
This initiative, according to observers, is expected to boost political participation in the constituency while also deepening grassroots engagement within the APC as the party looks ahead to Primaries billed to commence next month according to Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC timetable for 2027 general elections
