Coalition Of Ethnic Youth Nationalities On The Plateau Congratulates Rt Hon Naanlong Daniel On His Emergence As The Speaker Of The State House Of Assembly

Encomiums have continued to pour in following the emergence of Rt Hon Na’anlong Daniel as the Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly. This is as the umbrella body of all the 54 ethnic youths Presidents known as the Coalition Of Ethnic Youth Nationalities On The Plateau joined million well wishers to celebrate the new number 3 citizen of the State

Nokpan Stephen, Secretary of the Coalition in a congratulatory letter in Jos on Saturday, 12th July, 2025 and exclusively made available to Trill Times News titled “Congratulatory Message to Rt. Hon. Naanlong Daniel Gapyil On Your Assumption of Office as Speaker, Plateau State House of Assembly” said “The Coalition of Ethnic Youth Nationalities on the Plateau extends our heartfelt congratulations to you, Rt. Hon. Naanlong Daniel Gapyil, on your emergence as the Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly”.

Eulogizing Rt Hon Na’anlong, the Secretary onbehalf of the Coalition’s Chairman, Amb Ezekiel Bini recounted Na’anlong’s leadership prowess and qualities saying “Your emergence is a clear testament to your leadership capacity, integrity, and deep-rooted connection with the people of Plateau State. As representatives of the diverse ethnic youth constituencies on the Plateau, we celebrate this milestone and the hope it brings for a more inclusive, accountable, and development-focused legislative agenda”.

The 54 Ethnic Youth Presidents expressed absolute confidence in the new Speaker while declaring their maximum support to him “We are confident that under your stewardship, the House of Assembly will pursue policies that promote justice, youth engagement, interethnic harmony, and sustainable development across our beloved state. We urge you to remain a voice for equity and a bridge-builder among all communities”.

“Once again, congratulations, Mr. Speaker. We look forward to a productive partnership in building a peaceful and prosperous Plateau”.

Rt Hon Na’anlong emerged as the Speaker following the resignation of the former Speaker, Rt Hon Gabriel K. Dewan in a deliberate move to balance the political equation of the state where the top three positions in the state are distributed across the three senatorial zone
