Governor Mutfwang Affirms Plateau State As A Hub For Growth And Development Pledges Support To Presidential Aide On Constituency Affairs

The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to harnessing the state’s vast potentials for economic growth and national development.

Governor Mutfwang made this known on Saturday during a stakeholders’ engagement meeting organized by the Personal Assistant to the President on Constituency Affairs, Alhaja Khadijat Kareem Omotayo. The event, held at the Victoria Gowon Hall, New Government House, Little Rayfield, Jos, brought together key stakeholders to discuss issues affecting the state and the nation.

Represented by the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Musa Ibrahim Ashoms, Governor Mutfwang assured the presidential aide of the steadfast support of Plateau State’s stakeholders in promoting equitable and inclusive governance through strategic infrastructural development.

He emphasized that Plateau State remains a fertile ground for nurturing talents and fostering development across various sectors, adding that the Federal Government’s interventions in different aspects of life have significantly contributed to improving the living standards of the citizens.

In her remarks, Alhaja Khadijat Kareem Omotayo stated that Plateau State was strategically chosen for the engagement due to its immense potentials.

She stressed that if properly harnessed, these resources could drive sustainable development not only in the state but across the nation.

She further reiterated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to fostering inclusivity and national development, emphasizing that his administration is open to collaboration with all Nigerians to achieve these goals.

The town hall meeting served as a vital platform for dialogue and collaboration among government officials, community leaders, and citizens. It provided an opportunity to share ideas, address pressing concerns, and collectively seek solutions for the progress and prosperity of Plateau State.
