The Executive Chairman of Langtang South Local Government Council, Hon Nanfa Alhassan Nbin has added another Award to his gallery of Awards within few months of steering the wheel of leadership at the Council
Renowned for his unparalleled commitment to the security and welfare of the people of his people, Hon Nbin was today, Sunday, 3rd August, 2025 awarded by the Nigeria Forest Security Service (NFSS) at Yelwa Club, Jos
Speaking on his passion for security and peaceful coexistence, Hon Nbin emphasized that “security of life and property is the core mandate of any responsible government, and that’s why since my assumption of duty, I have worked closely with all security agencies to ensure that my Local Government is peaceful”
“Under my watch, no security information is taken for granted and I shall continue to work assiduously to eliminate crime and criminality”, said the Council Chairman
He added that the State Governor, His Excellency, Barr Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang instructed them to maintain peace at their domains and he is committed to this.
“No meaningful development can take place in an atmosphere of rancour. Security, therefore is everyone’s business either you are in government or a private person” concluded the soft spoken Chairman
Trill Times News reports that Hon Nbin who recently received the Plateau Impact Awards, was last week recognized by an international non-governmental organization, Humanitarian Dialogue (H.D) in Shendam for overseeing the most peaceful Local Government in the State
