Jos, October 1, 2025 – The Executive Chairman of the Plateau State Universal Basic Education Board (PSUBEB), Hon. Bldr. Sunday Samuel Amuna, has extended warm felicitations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, his deputy Ngo Josephine Piyo, the Plateau State House of Assembly, the State Chief Judge, the Plateau State Council of Chiefs and Emirs, and the entire people of Plateau State on the occasion of Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary.

In his goodwill message, Amuna described the anniversary as a celebration of Nigeria’s enduring spirit, unity in diversity, and collective hope for a brighter future.

He highlighted the Board’s modest yet impactful strides in the basic education sector under the support of the Plateau State Government, noting the renovation and construction of hundreds of classrooms, provision of furniture and learning materials, as well as enhanced teacher training programs across the state.

“These accomplishments,” he said, “are anchored on the visionary leadership of His Excellency, the people’s Governor, whose commitment to education as a tool for transformation continues to inspire our efforts.”

The PSUBEB boss reaffirmed the Board’s dedication to ensuring safe, inclusive, and quality learning environments for all Plateau children, while pledging deeper collaboration with stakeholders to strengthen the education sector.

“As we look ahead, may this Independence Day rekindle our collective resolve to build a more educated, united, and prosperous Plateau and Nigeria at large,” Amuna declared.

He concluded by wishing Nigerians a joyous 65th Independence Anniversary celebration.
