The Middle Belt Ethnic Youth Leaders Assembly (MBEYLA) joins millions across the world in marking International Women’s Day. MBEYLA acknowledges with great respect the many ways Middle Belt women contribute to society. In our homes, farms, markets, schools, and offices, they work daily to support their families and build stronger communities.
Their dedication, patience, and sense of responsibility have helped to preserve the values and culture of the diverse peoples of the Middle Belt.
Over the years, women of the Middle Belt have shown courage and determination in the face of many challenges.
They have continued to raise responsible children, support community development, and stand as pillars of stability in society. For this reason, MBEYLA proudly recognizes them as builders of the home and important drivers of progress in the Middle Belt region.
As the world celebrates women today, the assembly also calls on mothers and daughters across the Middle Belt to continue playing active roles in protecting children and promoting strong family values.
